Ms. Xiaoyu Lin received her Ph.D. in chemistry from Brigham Young University and her J.D. in Law in Berkeley, University of California. She was admitted to the practice of law in California.

She has rich experience in the fields of chemistry engineering, pharmaceutical, semiconductor manufacturing, and mechanical manufacturing. Dr. Lin has handled dozens of patent related proceedings before the Federal Courts and United States International Trade Commission (ITC). Dr. Lin is an expert on collecting and analyzing evidence. She has helped many clients with patent risk prevention through due diligence. In Metis IP, Dr. Lin gives full play to her rich experience in patent law matters. Now she is mainly responsible for patent legal opinion, litigation strategies, patent technology analysis and infringement litigation.
